Library Card Design Contest

The Allegany County Library System is happy to announce the winners of our Card Design Contest! A wide array of wonderful and creative designs were submitted by talented patrons of all ages, and finalists were chosen via a public poll.

Library staff selected the final winners based on originality, creativity, and how well the design expresses the feeling of what libraries provide.

Cards depicting the winning designs will be available starting in April during National Library Week, April 7-12, 2025!

Entries become property of ACLS. Winner’s name may appear on promotions including, but not limited to social media, the library website, newspaper, and other communications.
