Gardening Classes with Master Gardner – Sherry Frick

University of Maryland Extension Master Gardener Sherry Frick will offer six free gardening classes this spring at alternating branches of the Allegany County Library System. 

“Start Your Own Vegetable Garden” will be offered at three different locations: 

• Westernport Library on Monday, March 2 from 5:30 to 7:00PM
• Washington Street Library on Monday, March 9 from 5:30 to 7:00PM
• LaVale Library on Monday, March 23 from 5:30 to 7:00PM 

Other classes include:

“Managing Pests and Diseases in Your Garden“

• Westernport Library on Monday, March 30 from 5:30 to 7:00PM

“The Good, the Bad and the Ugly: Know Your Garden Friends and Foes”

• Washington Street Library on Monday, April 6 from 5:30 to 6:30PM

“Native Plants for Pollinators”

• LaVale Library on Tuesday, April 14 from 5:30 to 7:00PM
