How to help!

The library is a place that touches so many lives. We strengthen our community by providing a safe space for learning and betterment.

Your donation to the Allegany County Library System helps us provide vital resources, programs, and services that empower our community. From early literacy programs and technology access to engaging events and lifelong learning opportunities, your support makes a lasting impact.

Donate Today and be a part of transforming lives in Allegany County! Every gift, big or small, makes a difference. Thank you for supporting your library.

Special Campaigns: Contribute to our Collections!

Due to the 10% budget cut in county funding, ACLS leadership has made the difficult decision to cut the Collections budget by 16%, or $27,661.

This reduction impacts the Frostburg, Georges Creek, LaVale, South Cumberland, Washington Street and Westernport Libraries.  If you would like your donation to go to a specific library branch, please include that in the notes and the donation will be restricted to your wishes.

We appreciate any contributions that you can make.

Please direct any questions you may have to Lisa McKenney, Director of Administrative Services, Allegany County Library System lmckenney@alleganycountylibrary.info
