Live tutors are available seven days a week between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., EST. HelpNow! is a comprehensive suite of tutoring services designed for a range of academic needs; whether it’s tackling a tough homework problem, learning an academic skill, or writing a term paper. Students may take practice tests, submit essays for review, and take advantage of other self-study features 24 hours a day. Adults can also receive live online help from our trained adult education specialists in areas such as US Citizenship testing, resume and cover letter writing assistance and core subject education.

Explora Primary Schools

Designed specifically for younger student research, this database provides access to popular full-text magazines, essays, and primary source documents on a variety of topics.

NoveList K-8 Plus

NoveList K-8

Expert reading recommendations, reviews, articles, Author Read-alikes, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Feature Articles.

NoveList K-8 Plus contains materials for all K-8 grade levels and includes picture books, children’s “chapter” books and young adult titles.

NoveList provides Lexile and Accelerated Reader Levels of each book.

TrueFlix is an online resource that focuses on engaging subject-area content in science and social studies for students spanning grades 3-6.  Each of the TrueFlix subject areas will help your child hone literacy skills, bolster their understanding of crucial subjects relating to science and social studies, and help enhance their ability to be able to organize and assemble information.

World Book Online

Continually updated, includes all of the articles from the 22-volume print set, plus thousands more. In addition, there are more than 9,500 pictures and maps, 115 videos and animations, 9,300 sounds, more than 100 simulated historic Web sites.
